The combustible cladding issue has generated a sustained pipeline of facade investigation and remediation work across Greater Sydney. Many residential towers built between 1990 and 2015 have aluminium composite panels or similar non-conforming materials on their facades, requiring condition assessment, fire risk evaluation, and remediation specification. New South Wales operates its own strata legislation under the Strata Schemes Management Act 2015 and the Home Building Act 1989.
